Lords Insurance Services has been successfully trading in Cairns for the past 40 years. The family business, consisting of the 3 Lord Boys, Chris, Sean & Adrian, is situated at the Woree Plaza and was initially established by Chris Lord as a financial services and general insurance practice.
The team offers professional advice on insurance and risk management and provides insurance solutions for business and domestic clients through a broad range of insurance products. The business had grown to 10 staff and evolved from dealing with just one company to over 100 insurers and underwriting agencies.
Sean has been a part of the business for 10 years and is now a director of the company with Adrian adding 4 year's experience into the mix.

Chris rates his most significant personal milestone as being selected to carry the Olympic torch and lighting the cauldron in Cairns. His community involvement extends to being a founding member of the Cairns/Mulgrave Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, a member of the Far North Youth Assistance Fund and is the current president of the Edge Hill/Cairns West RSL Sub Branch.
Chris has also supported cricket and baseball, serving as coach and cricket umpire for many years. The business values community work, supporting Cairns Basketball and local basketball teams, North's Cricket Club, the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, through the Power of the Pallets, and the Australia-Japan Society.

As Chris plans to retire, he'll hand the reins over to sons, Sean & Adrian, who will continue to provide the same level of service and expertise.
